Is AlliedBarton hiring?
Yes, many of our district offices are hiring skilled professionals for a variety of positions, including security officers, security supervisors, account managers, recruiters, trainers and administrators. Specific job openings, shifts and training classes will vary from office to office. Additionally, our corporate office recruits executives, sales professionals, marketing and information technology professionals, accounting and finance experts, attorneys and other professionals.

Where do I go to apply online?
First search our current job openings – you can do this without creating an account. Once you've found a job that you'd like to apply for, click the hyperlinked job title to read more and then click the blue "Apply for Job" button.
You will be prompted to login or register for our site. By registering, you will create a username and password. This allows you to apply online, as well as save your application information for later use.
The application froze and I cannot continue. Can you assist me?
The application may sometimes time-out if you take too long to complete it or if you click the back button in the browser. If you uploaded a Word document of your resume, it will go into our system even if the application times out. At that point, you will not be able to go back and complete the application. If we want to move forward with you as a candidate, we will send you the application through our system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Can I apply in person?
While we strongly encourage candidates to apply online, you are welcome to apply in person by submitting your application using an in-house computer at any one of our AlliedBarton district offices. If a recruiter is available to review your information, you may have the opportunity to interview as well. However, we cannot guarantee that you'll receive an interview.

If I get called for an interview, what should I bring?
Dress appropriately for your interview and bring the following:
- A driver’s license, state, school or military ID or passport
- Documentation that indicates you are legally authorized to work in the United States, as listed on and required for completion of the I9 form.
- If you graduated from high school or college, bring the original diploma or a certified copy or your GED.
- If you were in the military, bring your DD214 (Military Service Discharge)
Does AlliedBarton conduct background checks as part of the hiring process?
Yes, AlliedBarton conducts drug screens and background checks for applicants who have accepted an employment offer. This will include education verification and reference checks.
Can I apply even if I don’t have previous security experience?
Yes! We will train motivated, capable individuals who meet our applicant requirements. Basic employment requirements include:
- At least 18 years of age
- Proof of ability to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- High school diploma/GED or 10 years of verifiable work experience.
What are some examples of where I could work?
AlliedBarton serves several thousand customers nationwide in a variety of industries. For example, we provide security service for commercial real estate, healthcare facilities, colleges and universities, financial institutions, manufacturing and industrial environments, the chemical/petrochemical industry, residential communities, government facilities and shopping malls.
Are there any rules on appearance?
Uniforms will be provided. Men’s hair must be cut in a conventional style, be a natural color, collar length in the back, less than half of the ear covered on the side. Neat, closely trimmed and groomed beards and mustaches are permitted if allowed at the client site. Men cannot wear earrings or other visible piercings while on duty. Women’s hair must be cut in a conventional style, be a natural color; if shoulder length or longer, hair must be pulled back for safety. Post-type earrings no larger than a dime may be worn. No other visible piercings while on duty.
